Methodology

We follow strict design principles and employ a proven software development methodology based on a combination of the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) and Agile Methods, principally Lean Software Development tenants. We feel that flexibility in our approach is the best method, matching client skills with our own and focusing on the Clients Business Objectives. It is well documented that 70 percent of all IT projects fail to meet their defined objective and 40 percent don't even reach production. This is why we start projects on sold Business Analysis, to manage projects based on the business requirements defined by the business and finally measure these continously throughout the project.

Internally we use Team Foundation Server (TFS) to manage projects, track enhancements, monitor defect resolution and as our primary source code repository.  We also expose a SharePoint based customer portal that gives customers a 24/7 view into project progress, contacts, outstanding issues, project artifacts, alerts about project plan changes, etc.  Best of all, the portal was developed using SharePoint so customers become comfortable with the technology in the process of deploying their solution.

 All projects can be accessed externally by clients throughout the latter stages of development. This is designed to help developers, management, and the business easily find and fix quality and security problems early in the development cycle, as the code is being written, without impacting time to market, cost, or customer satisfaction.
