Instalec sets up Microsoft Technology Center

Information technology specialist Instalec Technology Group is hoping to reap the benefits of a new investment at it's headquarters at Westhill, near Aberdeen.

It has created a Microsoft Technology Center(MTC) along the lines of a similar facility at it's Edinburgh branch. MTCs are found all over the world and allow Microsoft customers access to new technologies and expertise to help them find IT solutions to meet their specific needs.

Instalec, which also has an office in Glasgow, has invested £50,000 in it's new MTC at Westhill.

Alan Wood, Microsoft business manager for Scotland, said: "With our commercial business in Scotland currently growing at 61% year-on-year, I'm very excited that the new Instalec MTC will help us to further tap into new and incremental revenue opportunities in the north-east as well as delivering improved customer satisfaction."
